Lung Cancer Screening on World Cancer Day
On the occasion of World Cancer Day, a free event for lung cancer screening was organized.
On February 4, 2024, at Mall of Sofia, in honor of World Cancer Day, SRZI, Roche, and Hubis Ltd organized a free event for lung cancer screening. The event took place at Mall of Sofia and was open to all interested visitors.
The aim of the event was to raise awareness about lung cancer and provide free and easy access to screening for early detection of the disease. During the event, the following services were offered:
- Measurement of vital signs using our telemedicine station
- Consultations with medical professionals about risk factors for lung cancer and prevention methods
- Visitors had the opportunity to receive information about lung cancer and ask their questions to Dr. Alexander Simidchiev.
During the three-hour event, the vital signs and risk factors of 35 individuals were assessed.
