Hubis Telemedicine is actively engaged in developing and implementing projects aimed at improving healthcare services and delivering high-quality medical care through telemedicine. Our initiatives encompass a wide range of activities aligned with our mission to provide accessible and effective healthcare.
Project in Collaboration with the Pituitary Association and JDC
Support for Ukrainian Refugees
In partnership with the Pituitary Association and JDC, Hubis Telemedicine has successfully implemented a two-phase project aimed at supporting Ukrainian refugees facing challenges in accessing medical services. This initiative focuses on providing high-quality medical care and assistance to those in need through innovative telemedicine technologies.
Phase One
- Engagement of a Ukrainian Doctor
A Ukrainian-speaking doctor was engaged to facilitate communication and create a comfortable environment for medical consultations.
- Deployment of TytoCare Devices
Telemedicine devices were deployed in 13 centers along the Black Sea coast and other refugee-concentrated areas, enabling remote consultations that reduce the need for physical visits and minimize health risks.
Phase Two
- Inclusion of Ukrainian Doctors: The project expanded to include Ukrainian doctors wishing to practice in Bulgaria. They received mentorship from Bulgarian physicians, enabling them to adapt and conduct on-site consultations.
- Professional Development: The consultations conducted by these doctors counted as practice required for obtaining work permits in Bulgaria, creating opportunities for professional growth.
This project not only ensures access to healthcare but also facilitates the integration of Ukrainian refugees by overcoming language and cultural barriers. It also supports Ukrainian doctors in resuming their careers and contributes to preventing the spread of infectious diseases.

Mass Screening Project with RHI and Roche Bulgaria
Fighting Lung Cancer
In collaboration with the Regional Health Inspectorate (RHI) and Roche Bulgaria, Hubis Telemedicine launched a project for mass lung cancer screenings. Early detection of this serious disease is crucial for successful treatment.
Mobile Telemedicine Stations
Mobile units equipped with telemedicine stations were deployed across the country, providing quick and convenient access to screenings. Tests included spirometry, ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, BMI, and blood sugar measurements.
Fast Results
Participants received their results in electronic format (PDF) immediately after the screenings, which could be easily shared with their personal or attending physicians for further consultation.
This project not only simplifies access to essential medical screenings but also raises awareness about lung cancer and the importance of early diagnosis. With united efforts, we can save lives and improve public health.
