Screening in Support of World No Tobacco Day
On May 31, to mark World No Tobacco Day, the Sofia Regional Health Inspectorate (RHI) organized free screenings of basic health indicators and lung function using a telemedicine station. These tests, which take only 5 minutes, are conducted while the individual sits in a specially designed chair. Additionally, consultations with pulmonologists and specialists in lung cancer prevention and smoking cessation will be available on-site.
The event will take place in South Park (English Garden) in Sofia from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The initiative is in partnership with the Digital Health and Innovation Cluster Bulgaria, “Air for Health” Association, Hubis, and Roche.
