Successful Screening in Krumovo Village
A few days ago, we conducted a two-day screening in Krumovo Village, Plovdiv Region, with the help of our telemedicine station. Over the course of 6 hours, we measured the health indicators of 40 individuals, with each patient receiving guidance and advice in real time through a video connection with a doctor. The screening included measurements of height, weight, body mass index, temperature, lung function tests, blood sugar levels, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, heart rate, and a 5-lead ECG. All results were interpreted by an on-site medical specialist.
This event is an excellent example of how telemedicine can improve access to healthcare in Bulgaria, especially for people in remote areas. They no longer need to travel long distances to receive medical assistance. The screening results were particularly encouraging, as we managed to reach people of all ages with various health conditions who received free and timely care.
We believe that telemedicine has the potential to revolutionize healthcare in Bulgaria, making medical services more accessible and improving the quality of life for everyone.
